The NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) is a leading civil rights organization dedicated to ensuring political, educational, social, and economic equality for all individuals, while working to eliminate race-based discrimination. Founded in 1909, the NAACP has been at the forefront of key movements for justice, advocating for voting rights, fair housing, criminal justice reform, and equal opportunity. We meet at 6:30 pm the 1st Monday of each month, unless it is a holiday. We do not meet in July or January. Join us in-person on the top floor of the Banneker Community Center. When there is an option to join remotely, the connection link will be shared on the mailing list.
